| Strengths: |
Good bulk and has the build to take hits in the league. Has a great arm and can make all of the throws. Mechanics are good when he has time to throw, but when under pressure he will throw off his back foot. Is creative when forced to move and will change his throwing motion if there is a defender in the way of the intended target. Mobile enough to make a play when needed and extends then play outside the pocket when the pocket collapses. Accurate and will fit the ball between defenders. Throws a pretty ball with good spiral and puts it in a place where the receiver can catch it. Leads receivers on deep balls. |
| Weaknesses: |
Sometimes puts too much on the ball and I question whether or not he can throw with touch consistently. Throws off back foot under pressure, and doesn't like to be hit. Needs to step into his throws more and a bunch of his interceptions came when he was leaning backwards and the ball sailed on him. Forces some balls, which shows he trusts his arm but sometimes it will get him into trouble. Doesn’t play big in the pocket and when throwing over the middle will have some balls batted down at the line of scrimmage. |
