Draft Breakdown v2.0

2nd Round

Interview 1/22

Juaquin Iglesias
WR Oklahoma Senior
6'1" 210 lbs 40: 4.56 sec
Strengths: Runs THE best routes of all the WRs in this draft class. A sure handed receiver, Iglesias works the middle of the field like a pro. Has a solid size and speed ratio, but game speed is better than timed speed. Can make plays after the catch, showing elusiveness in the open field. Reliable receiver who knows how to make plays. Intelligent and aware of his surroundings, Iglesias always knows where the first down marker and the sideline are. Plays physical and isn't afraid of contact. Ideal possession receiver and will enjoy a long NFL career. High character with no off-field issues. Will make an immediate impact for whatever team drafts him.
Weaknesses: Not a down-field threat. Times speed leaves something to be desired. Consistent, but not a game changer. Has trouble getting separation from the defender and may have trouble against more physical corners, especially in press-man coverage.
Quick Hits: Really blew me away at the Senior Bowl with his route running. Does a terrific job planting his foot and making cuts, but runs very smooth and with ease. Three year starter in the Big-12. Will surprise a team and be a consistent, day one contributor as a WR. An ideal possession receiver, Iglesias will make an NFL team very happy with his production, especially compared to where he'll be drafted. Could be the most underrated WR prospect in the draft.
