2nd Round
Eric Wood
| C | Louisville | Senior |
| 6'3" | 310 lbs | 40: 5.23 sec |
| Strengths: | A physical offensive lineman that plays with a mean streak. Loves to battle in the trenches. Does a great job pulling and getting to the next level. High football IQ. Can read a defense and make the line calls effectively. A true lunch pail player that comes to work and gets the job done. Can also play guard in the NFL. |
| Weaknesses: | Not the best in pass protection and will struggle with some bigger nose tackles. Had trouble with speed rushers at the Senior Bowl. Can get high in his blocks at time. |
| Quick Hits: | Four year starter in the Big East, has the Louisville record for most consecutive starts (49). First team All-Big East in 2008 and 2007, with 2nd team All-Big East honors in 2006. A blue collar, hard working lineman that will get the job done. May be one of those guys that are underrated coming into the draft, but goes onto have a long and successful NFL career. |
