Draft Breakdown v2.0
QB RB FB WR TE OT OG C DE DT OLB ILB CB S K P

Late 1st/Early 2nd Round
Donald Brown
RB Connecticut Junior
5'10" 210 lbs 40: 4.51 sec
Strengths: May be a complete package running back. Brown has terrific field vision, finding the holes and quickly bursting through. Good balance and cutting ability. Catches well out of the back field. Gives 100% on every play. Able to go full speed, stop, and return to full speed quickly. Has the ability to break tackles. Might not be a superstar at the next level, but will be a consistent contributor and should be able to carry the load for an NFL team.
Weaknesses: Doesn't have ideal size or speed. Lower body strength is marginal. Will have to work on his blocking once he gets into the NFL. Won't run away from defenders, and might not be able to run over all defenders. Will have to rely on his superior vision to be successful.
Quick Hits: Ultra productive in his junior season, rushing for over 2000 yards. Capped the year as the International Bowl MVP, rushing for 261 yards against Buffalo. 2008 Big East Offensive player of the year. Doesn't have a lot of holes in his game, but lacks some of the measurables that set others apart at the next level. Will be a very consistent player and won't make many mistakes.
